Tyrod Taylor named Houston Texans starting quarterback

Houston Texans head coach David Culley has announced that Tyrod Taylor will be the team’s new starting quarterback.
Culley spoke highly of Taylor, saying he is usually the first guy in and the last to leave, also saying that Taylor has gone through some things the last two years, and those experiences have helped make him a great leader.
Taylor has had some injuries before, including a punctured lung, but Culley feels he is more than capable to get the job done.
Last year, he was starting quarterback for the San Diego Chargers but some say, the most notable part of his career was when he was with the Buffalo Bills.
So what’s up with Deshaun Watson? Well, he still has a spot on the team’s 53-man roster, but he is listed as “Other” on the Texans’ official depth chart.
Watson has not taken part in preseason action and is not expected to play.
The Texans open their regular season this Sunday when they host the Jacksonville Jaguars at NRG Stadium.
Good luck guys!
