November Vibe Spotlight: KC Cooper
Written by Ariel Pirela on November 21, 2024
The Vibe is excited to bring our listeners closer to the music with our “Get to Know Your On-Air Hosts” series. Each month, we highlight one of our talented on-air hosts to give you a better sense of who they are beyond the airwaves.
For this month, we are thrilled to shine the spotlight on KC Cooper, host Night Skool (Sunday 10pm-12am).
Q: What inspired you to start your show? What motivates you to continue hosting each week?
KC: “Marcus Sullivan influenced me. He believed in me. I emcee and host events from time to time and he thought I would make the perfect fit for a nighttime show. What motivates me each week is the opportunity to spread love. There are some people who have had a long week or a bad week and on Sunday, I get the chance to spread love and make them feel loved. My show is a chance to relieve some of the stress and pressure people feel throughout the week.
Q: What is something your audience would be surprised to learn about you?
KC: “I taught myself to read at four years old.”
Q: Any closing thoughts/motivation for our readers and listeners?
KC: “Be the change that you want to see. Love doesn’t cost a thing, but it’s worth a million dollars—it’s actually worth everything.”
Thank you so much, KC, for taking the time to share your powerful story with our audience!
