HOUSTON, TX — The Vibe, Houston’s premier culture station, unveils its brand-new slate of weekend programming to celebrate Houston’s iconic holiday, 713 Day. On July 13th, tune in to experience an exceptional array of programming curated by a blend of established and up-and-coming radio personalities. This 713 Day, The Vibe promises to be your ultimate weekend soundtrack, from Caribbean melodies to engaging talk shows, local talent, and hip-hop classics.

Among the exciting additions to The Vibe’s weekend schedule is “The Sidechat Vibe Lounge,” hosted by the talented Taylor Getwood. Broadcasting every Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., this show has already captivated listeners since its debut on June 28th, 2024. Get ready for engaging discussions about TSU’s student experience from the perspective of a current student and a vibrant atmosphere that will keep you hooked.

Another must-listen program is “Caribbean Vibes,” hosted by the charismatic Super Neil since its premiere on June 30th, 2024. Tune in every Sunday from 8 pm to 10 pm to immerse yourself in the rich and rhythmic sounds of the Caribbean. Get ready to sway to the beats and experience the vibrant culture of the islands. 

Adding to the excitement is “Good Trouble Saturdays,” hosted by the dynamic Troublesum. Launching on 713 Day, July 13th, 2024, from 8 pm to 10 pm, this show promises to bring the best of hip-hop classics and witty conversation to your Saturday nights.
