Actress and Comedian Niecy Nash shocked fans after she shared on social media a photo of her recent wedding to singer Jessica Betts. The picture captured the newlyweds walking down the aisle holding hands, with a caption that read, “Mrs. Carol Denise Betts,” alongside a diamond ring and rainbow emoji.
Fans took to Twitter to congratulate the “Claws” star, with many in the LGBTQ community celebrating Nash for finally coming out.

Although the news was welcomed by many, some of Nash’s fans were left stunned considering the fact that she has never publicly admitted to being gay.

Nash, who was previously married to Jay Tucker, filed for divorce in December 2019, but according to TMZ, the divorce was not finalized until June 2020.
As Nash said in her Instagram story – #PlotTwist….. but we think the best response was from Nash’s celebrity friend and wedding guest Ava Duvernay who tweeted, “May you both have more happiness than your hearts can hold.”
