Houston’s next up, Yung Pooda, and hit-maker DJ Chose have released their new, magnetic collaboration single “Forever Tippin,” which is an appealing twist of the Salih William-produced classic, “Still Tippin’” by Mike Jones, Paul Wall and Slim Thug. Bringing a fresh dose of energy back to the iconic Hip Hop track, Pooda and DJ Chose pay homage to the local heavyweights who blazed a trail and put Houston on the map for its unique “screwed up” sound. The video for the piece is true H-Town, with OG Slim Thug making a cameo amid the candy painted slab cars swangin through Houston’s historic neighborhoods. “Forever Tippin” comes on the heels of Pooda’s biggest record to date, “Chicken ‘N Grits,” featuring Dreamdoll on the original version, with Trey Songz joining the official remix. The track is currently over 3 million + streams and counting on Spotify solely. “Forever Tippin” paves the way for his anxiously awaited debut project, “Vivid Pictures,” arriving later this year. Pooda is set to perform at ‘The Official 713 Day Celebration’ in Houston on July 13, alongside a few of Houston’s legends, including Lil Keke, Paul Wall, Slim Thug and more! NEW YORK – Magnifying the scope of her critically acclaimed debut album KIKI, platinum-selling artist Kiana Ledé unveils KIKI (Deluxe), expanding the original with seven brand new tracks, featuring a supporting cast of A-list guests. Among the new songs, the single “Only Fan” feat. Jacquees drips with throwback R&B energy. On the track, lusty verses wrap around airy guitar and a steady beat. They lock into a steamy call-and-response as fiery falsetto from Jacquees flutters to a hypnotic climax. Elsewhere, she and Ari Lennox reup the fan favorite “Chocolate” with a delicious and dynamic LoFi Remix. Additionally, KIKI now boasts the bonus track “Youth” feat. Gary Clark, Jr.. The GRAMMY® Award-winning blues rock virtuoso delivers a head-bobbing riff and the perfect smooth vocal counterpoint to her dynamic delivery. Listen to KIKI (Deluxe): HERE On these latest additions, Kiana exudes more seductiveness, soul and spirit than ever before. Earlier this month, she joined forces with R&B icon Usher on “This Day” from the NETFLIX original film Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey. The original album notably bowed in the Top 5 of the Billboard Top R&B Albums Chart, Top 5 of the Apple Music R&B/Soul Albums Chart, Top 5 of the iTunes R&B/Soul Albums Chart and Top 10 of the Apple Music Overall Albums Chart. It has impressively gathered over 50 million streams in addition to receiving tastemaker praise from ELLE, Billboard, Highsnobiety, Vibe and many more. Just who is Kiana Ledé? On the one hand, you know her as a fierce and fiery force in R&B responsible for bangers such as the platinum-certified “EX,” “Mad At Me” and “Chocolate” feat. Ari Lennox and has received over 1 billion streams globally and praise from Complex, Vibe, Billboard, ROLLACOASTER Magazine and more. But, who is she? “KIKI,” she answers. On her aptly titled full-length debut, she reveals every side of herself: the vulnerability, the vitality, the anger, the lust, the loyalty, the joy, the darkness, and the truth as evinced on song. Long before all of this, the songstress “from South Phoenix with Black, Mexican, Native American, and White ancestry” grew up between divorced parents. She played classical instruments and competed in pageants—but popped wheelies on dirt bikes and got under the hood to fix a car or two. Eventually, an adventurous spirit carried her from Arizona to Los Angeles where she began a journey that comes full circle in 2020. TRACKLISTING: DELUXE Ladylike*Chocolate (LoFi Remix) [feat. HOUSTON — Ding, ding, ding…in the left corner in the navy blue trunks is “Mr. I can say what I want to say in the name of ‘Art’ and ‘Hip Hop.’” And in the right corner, wearing a hot pink thong is “Ms. Did she really just say what I think she said?” In the wrestling ring of “Double Standards,” Cardi B and Texas Southern University’s Megan Thee Stallion have set the internet on fire with their collaboration, “WAP,” which means — we are not saying, just look it up for yourself! The sexually explicit lyrics have sparked a debate of whether these two female rappers have gone inappropriately overboard speaking so blatantly about sex. Come on now, Salt-N-Pepa said in the nicest way, “Let’s Talk About Sex,” but Lil’ Kim took the “sex talk” to a whole new level when she dropped her debut album, making her a “notorious” instant sex-cess (success). It is safe to say, that in these days, even the saintly “librarians” and “nurses” have undergone sexual makeovers thanks to Halloween costumes, accessorized with lace stockings and garter belts. Is it time that we just “get over it already?” Or is it time for us to teach our young women that we don’t have to show off all the curves that God blessed us with in the name of likes, shares and the almighty “make it rain” dollar-dollar-bill? James P. Bradley, a Republican congressional candidate who’s running to replace California’s Ted Lieu, said  Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion “are what happens when children are raised without God and without a strong father figure,” adding that the song “made me want to pour holy water in my ears.” But many others are saying “Lighten up” and are debating on social media. A post defending the “femcees” by Santa Patton, has gone viral.  Patton lists the following reasons that some men are upset by the lyrics. The 10 Types of Men That Are Mad at WAP  1. Men that attended Freaknik annually and now have daughters  2. Men that have female superiors at their place of employment  3. Men that consistently have conversations with themselves in women’s inboxes  4. Men that thought the night cap went well…and are just now figuring out why they haven’t heard from her  5. Men who donated to the Dr. Umar Johnson school  6. Men who can not create WAP  7. Men who are waiting on the porch for that second stimulus check  8. Men who do not take rejection well  9. Hoteps that hold on to every word that Minister Farrakhan speaks UNTIL he starts telling men to love, honor and protect women  10. Men, who if we looked at their credit card history, we would see monthly charges for OnlyFans, PornHub, and a series of $40 cash app transactions  Bonus: men who are oddly quiet-preachers, pastors and prophets #PPP4WAP Well, what do you have to say? Drop a comment and let us know!

He has proven to be as powerful with his pen as he is in the recording studio and on stage. The Las Vegas native quickly became known as a go-to hitmaker, penning bangers like Rihanna’s “Unfaithful,” “Russian Roulette,” and “Take a Bow,” along with Beyoncé’s 2006 breakup anthem “Irreplaceable” and songs for such artists as Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, among others. In addition to “World of Dance,” NE-YO’s film and television credits include “Save the Last Dance,” “Battle: Los Angeles,” “Stomp the Yard,” George Lucas’ “Red Tails,” “Empire,” “The Wiz Live!” and “Step Up: High Water” now in his 3rd season debuting on Starz.

NEW YORK– Multimillion-selling R&B/pop pioneer and seven-time GRAMMY® Award-winner, Toni Braxton has released the official video for her latest single, “Dance,” today (Island Records). Directed by Mike Ho (Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Nicki Minaj), the video encapsulates the single’s high energy as Toni exudes confidence in her performance with her soulful vocals and sultry choreography. Braxton released “Dance” on Friday and the single was immediately heralded as “a shimmery slice of nu-disco” by Rolling Stone, “a feel-good disco stomper” by Variety, and Billboard described it as “a nu-disco club-ready banger that serves as an antidote for any heartbreak.” Along with Friday’s single release, Toni revealed her 10th studio album, ‘Spell My Name,’ will be released on August 28th. Earlier this year, Toni released “Dance (Dave Aude Remix),” a remix of the new single, which went #1 on the UK’s Commercial Pop Club Chart. And in June, Braxton teamed up with the legendary Missy Elliot for a remix of her single “Do It” which is currently building at #1 on the Billboard Adult R&B chart. “Do It” was the #1 most added song at Adult R&B radio after release and Braxton’s highest debut at the format. ‘Spell My Name’ is Braxton’s follow up to her multi-GRAMMY® nominated album ‘Sex & Cigarettes.’ Released in 2018, the album features hit single “Long As I Live” which shot to #1 on the Billboard Adult R&B chart and top 10 on the R&B charts. Last year, Braxton embarked on her “Long As I Live” tour visiting 21 cities in addition to South Africa and for the first time in 22 years, the United Kingdom. In late 2019, Braxton graced the stage at the American Music Awards for a breathtaking performance of her iconic song, “Un-Break My Heart,” which marked the 25th anniversary of her first appearance on the show which become one of the most talked about moments from the evening. Braxton is the legendary, multimillion-selling R&B/pop pioneer and seven-time Grammy Award-winner behind timeless hits such as “Love Shoulda Brought You Home,” “Another Sad Love Song,” “Breathe Again,” “Seven Whole Days,” “He Wasn’t Man Enough” and “Un-Break My Heart.” The official video for the iconic “Un-Break My Heart” recently broke 500 million views on YouTube. If that wasn’t enough, the multi-talented singer/songwriter has also expanded her skillset along the way: music producer, Broadway musical star, television actress/producer and best-selling author. Listeners first became aware of the newcomer’s mesmerizing sultry voice when she appeared on the soundtrack to the Eddie Murphy box office smash Boomerang. That set the stage for Braxton’s 1993 breakthrough with her self-titled debut LaFace album that’s now 8x platinum. Between 1996 and 2010, she released six more solo albums (Secrets, The Heat, Snowflakes, More Than a Woman, Libra and Pulse) and charted a string of hits (including “You Mean the World to Me,” “You’re Makin’ Me High” and “I Love Me Some Him”/ “I Don’t Want To”) before teaming with Babyface 2014 for the critically acclaimed duets album that won her a seventh Grammy for Best R&B Album. Along the way, Braxton reinvented her game as she effortlessly segued into a theatrical acting career in 1998 as Belle in Beauty and the Beast. That barrier-breaking portrayal—the first black woman to play a leading role in a Disney Broadway production—led to a stint in a second Disney Broadway musical, Aida, and later a special guest star engagement with another Broadway musical, After Midnight. Since then, Braxton has starred in three TV films for Lifetime and she and her three sisters have become popular reality stars via WE tv’s flagship series Braxton Family Values. Diagnosed with lupus several years ago, Braxton hasn’t allowed that to slow her career momentum nor her role as the proud mom of sons Denim and Diezel. She devotes time as spokesperson for Lupus L.A. and Autism Speaks, the latter on behalf of Diezel who is living with autism.
