The Super Bowl half-time show is receiving mixed reviews after a bazaar performance by the singer, The Weeknd.
Robots, fun houses and creepy mummies were among the circus-like oddities that left viewers perplexed, and it didn’t take long before social media began sharing hilarious memes.
Many of the comments compared the performance to the Star Wars movie franchise and the Jordan Peele thriller “US.”
But many thought the show was a spectacular visual show that marveled previous years.
One Twitter user wrote, “he gave us visuals, vocals, classics, hits, and a story. This is one of the best, most planned out, Super Bowl halftime shows I’ve ever seen.”
