Rapper Snoop Dogg registers to vote for first time in now-viral video

The Dogg Father of hip-hop has registered to vote for the first time.
Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg posted the now-viral video to his YouTube page, where he gave fans a step-by-step look at the process.
“I aint trying to be no poll worker. I don’t work no polls,” Snoop joked.
“The ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ rapper admitted in past interviews that he had never voted because he was uneducated.
“I ain’t never voted a day in my life, but this year I think I’mma get out and vote because I can’t stand to see this punk in office one more year,” Snoop said in an interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood podcast. “For many years they had me brainwashed thinking that you couldn’t vote cause you had a criminal record. I didn’t know that. My record’s been expunged, so now I can vote.”
If you’re not registered to vote, visit vote.org. Early voting is from October 13 to October 30 for Texas residents. Election Day is Nov. 3.
