Trick Daddy takes plea deal gets time served for DUI, drug possession

Rapper and “Love and Hip Hop Miami” star “Trick Daddy” will not be going to jail, thanks to a deal that was negotiated by his lawyer.

The Miami native  was arrested back in January 2019 and charged with driving under the influence and possession of cocaine.

Bodycam footage appeared to show officers dumping cocaine out of a dollar bill on the hood of Trick’s car. The testing came back only showing trace amounts of the illegal substance and Trick’s charges were downgraded to a level three felony.  

His attorney, Harris Gilbert, confirmed the plea deal to TMZ, saying, “As part of the plea he was also able to give back to the community he loves so much with a donation to Camillus House homeless shelter.”

We hope Trick gets all the help he needs to stay healthy. His family and fans love him.
