karen civil
It was not a good night Saturday for Karen Civil, as the influencer and – normally – well respected media marketing specialist and public relations professional was called out for not delivering on the services that clients have paid her tens of thousands of dollars for. Civil was hosting a session on the social media platform “Clubhouse” when Joyner Lucas blasted her for taking $60K of his money, early in his career, and delivering absolutely no results. joyner lucas on clubhouse airing out karen civil and im loving it🤣💯 pic.twitter.com/FsI9YTaAyJ — ミ☆KALOTHE1 (@kalothe1) September 18, 2021 Lucas said he felt powerless to come out publicly against Civil because, as a new artist, he feared being “blackballed” before his career could jump off. Well, anyone who follows Lucas’ work knows he is a power player here to stay and he did not hold back letting everyone know that Civil’s work practices were trash, if we can be frank about it. Hollywood blogger Jason Lee also chimed in, calling Civil out for her paying someone to attempt to hack his account in an effort to erase negative things said about her. Civil admitted during the live session that was true, but disputed giving the hacker 20 bands ($20K), as Lee claimed. So Jason Lee gets on Karen Civil's clubhouse show & calls her out for hiring a hacker to hack his website. She then admits it. Same session that @JoynerLucas got on to call her out. She comes off very very shady. #KarenCivil #JasonLee #JoynerLucas pic.twitter.com/VunP28TgnX — Mario. (@WallyandMario) September 18, 2021 Civil was also involved in a lawsuit against Jessie Woo, whom Civil claimed was defaming her character. Well, the lawsuit did not go in Civil’s favor, so it leaves many to wonder is Civil as “sketchy” as others are making her out to be? In addition to that, rapper Cam’ron chimed in, repeating allegations from a few years ago that Civil bilked him and his friend out of another $60K for work that she did not perform. Civil tried to dismiss the claims against her PR practices, saying that it was part of the music industry and that she outsourced to other companies to handle certain aspects. In other words, if things were not delivered, it appears she is saying that it was not all her fault. So, you guys chime in. Should Civil make good and give people their money back? Should they dare to dream?
